Aggiornamento Association
The Aim of the Association: To support the work of The Pope John XXIII Institute for Church Renewal and Development (“the Institute). The Work of The Pope John XXIII Institute: The Institute works to implement a new parish paradigm as the basic element in carrying out Pope John XXIII’s call to “aggiornamento,” (an updating). The family, described by the Second Vatican Council, as the domestic Church, is the basic foundation for building this “new” community of disciples. The Institute envisions this new Church paradigm to be Trinity Centered and driven by the Mission of Jesus: to proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven and make disciples of people of all nations. The programs of the Institute include: The Domestic Church Paradigm, The Holy Family Academy, The Pope John XXIII Leadership School, and the Shepherds of the Gospel Virtual Fraternity. Commitments of the Associates: Members of the Association are committed to and passionate about:
Participation Levels: The Institute seeks a community of participants who are actively involved in the work of the Institute by sharing their Time, Talent, and Treasure.

Association Member Benefits:
Institute’s Daily Prayer: We stand before you, Holy Spirit, conscious of our sinfulness, but aware that we gather in your name. Come to us, remain with us, and enlighten our hearts. Give us light and strength to know your will, to make it our own, and to live it in our lives. Guide us by your wisdom, support us by your power, for you are God, sharing the glory of Father and Son. You desire justice for all: enable us to uphold the rights of others; do not allow us to be misled by ignorance or corrupted by fear or favor. Unite us to yourself in the bond of love and keep us faithful to all that is true. As we gather in your name may we temper justice with love, so that all our decisions may be pleasing to you, and earn the reward promised to good and faithful servants. You live and reign with the Father and the Son, One God, forever and ever. Amen. Prayer by Pope John XXIII at the Opening of the Vatican II Council |
